Tidal Bore photographic series are replicating the tide subtle movement into a cycle of subtle perceptual visual changes. It is a project based on the investigation of Pororoca wave’s phenomenon that is a natural one created when the sun and the moon align together. It is when the natural “ meeting” of Rio Amazonia river flows with the Atlantic Ocean waters in the northern region of Brasil. Tidal Bore is drawing the endless wave into a rhythm of constant repetitive sequences.

The fan stands as metaphor for weather that moves air during the hottest summer season and creates the tide but also becomes a medium to perceive time, movement and energy of the universe.
