Whispering Colours Colours is a work that animates materiality with sound, while stimulating colour perception and awareness of space. Multi-coloured and fluorescent ropes draw vibrant patterns on floating cylinders that are suspended from the ceiling, releasing the everyday material from its utilitarian and functional use. The multi-coloured artwork is brought alive by filling the PVC pipes with whispering voices that resonate inside the cylindrical spaces so they are talking in the same way colours talk to each other. The viewers are invited to walk around the acoustic sculpture embracing the dynamic of colours, sound and space as they enter this three-dimensional canvas. As part of the Whispering Colours experience, a series of fast-looping videos in which orange and blue balls are moving a tempo with the whispering sound that is surrounding the space.
